New Cooperation Protocol Signed

In the City Hall on 3rd April 2015 a protocol which continues cooperation in the implementation of the Project prevention of pathological gambling has been signed, with the message of the Mayor of Belgrade Sinisa Mali that the city takes care of the youth. Protocol was signed by the Mayor of Belgrade, director of "Grand Casino" Christos Tsemperas and Psychologist Zarko Trebjesanin, the author of the Project.

Mali recalled that the project started from 2011 and so far included two municipalities in Novi Belgrade and Zemun, and that will in future be extended to three old town municipalities, Stari Grad, Vracar and Palilula. Mali said that the problem identified pathological gambling with the youth in Belgrade, a project that is important to the city that set out to solve this problem. "Youth is the future of Belgrade and our obligation and responsibility is to help them to overcome all the problems, "said Mali, adding that the city will continue to support all the projects related to youth. 
Tsemperas said that the "Grand Casino", which is a donor to the project, is a socially responsible company and that responsible gambling is deeply rooted in their business and company.

Proof of this  is and what is the "Grand Casino" acquired is the certificate "Responsibility of Gambling", which, according to standards of the European Association awards casinos is given by renowned company SGS, and which in Europe is held only by Casino Austria International. "Our mission and desire is to do more to prevent pathological gambling, "said Tsemperas. Trebjesanin presented the results of research that was conducted in 2014 on a sample of 2,095 students of third and fourth grade of secondary school in Zemun, which showed that two-thirds of high school students play games of chance, and that among students there are 3.6 percent of pathological gamblers and 2.9 percent of those who are at risk of becoming so.
 

Games of chance and betting should be enjoyed as an entertainment in a responsible way without experiencing any problems whatsoever. However, there is a certain addiction risk if we let the game take over the control. Consequences of that addiction can be very serious for us and our beloved ones.
